What should I do if my locks are stiff and the key doesn’t turn easily?

Locks are composed of many small parts that are meant to stay clean and lubricated so as to function smoothly.  Sometimes, after prolonged use, locks become stiff and hard to turn, especially those exposed to the elements.  In most cases, a simple application of a lubricant (best in a compressed aerosol) will do the trick.  When making copies of a key, always keep the original in a safe place, and always use the original to make the copies.  Every time a copy of a key is made, there is a small and insignificant difference in the key which usually does not cause any difficulties.  Making copies of copies, however, creates a cumulative difference that by the third or fourth copy, may render the key too different from the original, and not work as smoothly.

Is it True That Only My Auto Dealer Can Make Copies of my Car Keys?

Some car keys, especially the more technologically advanced keys, require special machinery to accurately duplicated and program keys.  Automobile dealerships have these machines in order to offer the service to their clientele.  However, automobile keys are not restricted to be duplicated only at their corresponding dealerships.  Our office is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and or team is trained and knowledgeable to make car keys of all makes and model, including access remote clickers, and transponder keys.
